He was succeeded by Taylor Wood who was succeeded by Barry Barkley in 2008. Tom Lyness (born August 9, 1883 - died 1970) was Irish and came to America in 1905; He PIONEERED the work in Idaho, USA and became Overseer of Montana. In 1931, he was shot and seriously wounded in Bozeman, Montana by a jealous husband and not expected to live. He recovered, however, and continued preaching for many years.
