LETTER NO. 1. June 14th from Princess Victoria:

Dear Maggie,
I was glad to get the notes, also a letter since.
They were indeed helpful and I had no difficulty in understanding them.
I did enjoy the piece about the "Holiest of All."
I had read the same chapter and felt quite disappointed
I hadn't seen it all myself.
These few words have come into my mind so many times today,
"And your joy no man taketh from you."
I think there is something so consoling about them, don't you?
I hope you keep well in every way.
