"Converts to a nameless religious sect, which has been holding a convention at St.
Monance, Fife [Scotland], during the past four days, were baptised in the sea off
the fishing port. Over 400 adherents attended from all over the country. The
members refer to each other as “Christians,” and worship is conducted in their
homes by lay preachers."
